Welcome New Board Members


We are delighted to introduce the new Members of our Board of Directors, who bring unique experience and enthusiasm to our dedicated Board.

Joe Cimperman

Joe has been a champion of the diverse peoples and cultures of Greater Cleveland throughout  his career. He attended St. Vitus ElementarySchool, St. Ignatius High School and John Carrol University. Joe served seven terms on Cleveland City Council. In 2016 he became President of Global Cleveland, a non-profit organization focused on regional economic development by attracting newcomers and connecting them economically and socially in Greater Cleveland.

Victor Harerimana

Victor Harerimana- Victor is a Bilingual Instructional Aid for the Cleveland Municipal School District, where he provides instruction to bilingual students, provides translation for teachers, students and parents. He facilitates communication between parents who do not speak English and teachers. He is also co-owner of Equity Languages and Employment Service LLC. Originally from the Congo, Victor served as a teacher in a refugee camp in Uganda for 5 years.

Aisha Ouattarra

Aisha is a Refugee Case Manager at Catholic Charities Migration and Refugee Services. Her responsibilities include providing core resettlement services to refugees, assisting with English as a Second Language (ESL) enrollment and children’s enrollment in the school system. She has taught ESL and worked as a tutor during a post-graduate year for AmeriCorps. She is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she studied International Studies, Anthropology and French.
