Joseph House of Cleveland helps refugees and those in need.


Joseph House provides refugees resettling in Cleveland with affordable housing and a community of welcome. We also operate a Clothing Bank Ministry to serve incoming refugees and local neighbors in our Greater Cleveland community.

On November 9th, six volunteers from Divine Word Parish in Kirtland spent their day at Joseph House sorting and tagging winter boots, putting together hygiene kits, and hanging new donations. We are so grateful for the extra hands at this busy time of year!

Joseph House received recognition last week from WJW Fox 8 News and Kaulig Charitable Giving Programs for its substantial impact on Northeast Ohio. We are honored to be among the non-profits recognized as Cleveland’s Own!

Ten seniors from Gilmour Academy spent their “Day of Service” at Joseph House. Along with their teacher advisor, the students unpacked winter boots, assembled hygiene kits, and hung donated clothes at the clothing bank for the refugees and local residents that come to Joseph House.
