Maureen joined Joseph House of Cleveland in February 2020. She is passionate about serving the needs of refugees and the underprivileged in greater Cleveland. Before joining Joseph House, she worked for over ten years at River’s Edge of Cleveland, a Ministry of the Congregation of St. Joseph, most recently as Executive Director. Maureen also has taught in local Catholic schools, including Lakewood Catholic Academy and St. Francis Xavier in Medina. For more than 25 years, she has served on the Board of the MetroHealth Friends of Mothers & Infants. Maureen has also volunteered with Immigration & Refugee Services of the Diocese of Cleveland, the City of Lakewood Healthy Living Task Force, and St. Luke Parish Council. She has undergraduate degrees from John Carroll University and Cleveland State University, as well as a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from John Carroll University.
