In 2025, Light the World Giving Machine kiosks, started by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be in more locations than ever — 126 cities across 21 countries and on six continents! Come visit Giving Machine Cleveland during its inaugural year in the city from November 18th to December 7th at Beachwood Place. One hundred percent of every donation to the Giving Machines is given to the participating nonprofit organizations to purchase and deliver the donated item.
In 2017, the Giving Machine was born in response to a heartfelt question, “What if giving to someone in need was as easy as buying a snack from a vending machine?” The purpose of Light the World Giving Machines is to give anyone, no matter their age or means, the chance to actively participate in a giving experience.

Since 2017, the Light the World Giving Machines have raised more than $48 million for local and global charities. This year, Giving Machine Cleveland will have 30 unique items that you can purchase to help someone in need in our community – including items for Joseph House! Giving Machines accept debit/credit cards via tap or swipe, and mobile payments.

Joseph House Director, Maureen Powers, and Board Chair – Elect, Barb Rote, attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for Cleveland’s Giving Machine. Check out this video from Cleveland 19 News from the event!
