Who We Are

Joseph House of Cleveland, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1997 to support newcomers resettling in Cleveland by providing essential items such as clothing, bedding, blankets, and personal hygiene products, along with a welcoming community of support.

We are a small collaborative ministry supported by four Catholic parishes—three urban and one suburban—whose pastors serve on our Board of Directors. Our supporting parishes are Divine Word Parish, St. Vitus Parish, Immaculate Conception Parish, and St. Paul Croatian Parish.

Joseph House operates a Clothing Bank where newcomers and local neighbors in need can receive clothing, shoes, select household items, and toiletries at no cost.
